School-Based Therapy Services
School-Based Services are those counseling services provided at a school facility. Beacon Services Group (BSG) contracts with schools to provide students of all ages whose behavior and functioning has been impaired by a variety of symptoms associated with ADHD, anxiety, adjustment to trauma and loss, behavioral problems, depression and thought disorders, as well as other issues.
BSG places educated, trained counselors based on the needs of the school community served. Counselors provide services to students without the stressors of scheduling and expenses for the parents or family. BSG and schools work together to identify and provide the necessary counseling services, emotional support, and programs needed by the school community, including staff, students, and families.
School-Based Services may include one or more of the following services: Individual Therapy, Family Therapy, Individual & Group Skills Training, Case Coordination with staff and other school services, staff development and support, social/emotional programs, parenting skills/support, and community outreach resources.
